Flute Meetings
is a versatile and rich international festival, which we have been
developing with the aim of creating an enviroment which can act as:
- a forum for exchanging musical experiences and different personal
approaches
- a class for both teachers and students
- a stage for performers
- an arena in which young flutists can compete
The annual flute meetings are intented for all those who love music and
love the flute, encompassing professionals, amateurs, students, pupils,
colleagues, friends and fellow citizens. The festival has been organized
in such a way as to provide an opportunity for everybody to actively
participate, independent of their knowledge or experience.
A further important aim of the festival is to bring Greek flutists in touch
with colleagues from abroad, enabling them to present their work to an
international audience. To date, the number of events and participants
in the festivals has been increasing year on year, with “Flute Meetings”
